*From Monday until Wednesday SpyMonkey's latest show "Oedipussy" takes on some rather shocking Greek myths and mashes them up with a touch of James Bond and Barbarella, in their trademark combination of comedy, song and chaos. That's at the Theatre Royal. You can find out more about the show by dropping into the "Morning After" event on Wednesday at 11am at the Dome.
*On Wednesday and Thursday Cabaret performer & chanteuse Camille O' Sullivan re-interprets artists such as Jacques Brel, David Bowie and other contemporary songwriters in the gorgeous setting of All Saint's Church.
*Also on Wednesday and Thursday, "Swimming with my Mother" is a dance duet between Irish choreographer David Bolger and his 77-year-old mother Madge, celebrating the things we inherit and pass onto future generations.
There are also a number of free music events in the Brighton Dome foyer bar this week:
*On Thursday and Friday Beatabet Collective bring their fusion of live music, theatre, performance art and video to the Dome foyer from 8.30pm.
*On Saturday from 2pm onwards - New up and coming young bands followed by DJs from 9.30pm 'til midnight

And there are two Joy Division-related events at the end of the week:
*On Thursday at the Brighton Dome, photographer Kevin Cummins and music journalist Paul Morley discuss "The Music and LEgacy of Joy Division", wondering whether any current band could quite have the same emotional impact
*On Friday at the Brighton Dome - Classical ensemble Heritage Orchestra, sound artist Scanner and video artist Matt Watkins are creating "an immersive multisensory event inspired by Joy Division, entitles Live Transmission. They are not covers of Joy Division songs, rather they pay homage to the music and spirit of the band.
